ASD2013 - Success!

The largest documentary event in Asia concluded - at last! More than 500 delegates from 45 countries...and so much dynamism and energy!! We saw Asian stations collaborating together in new schemes and the start of Asia's first alliance between indies through a planned new Asian Documentary Association of more than 15 national indie associations!

Hundreds of deals concluded but most of all proud to see the overwhelming enthusiasm of the Malaysian documentary eco-system from the highest levels of government to every single major broadcast player to the independent filmmakers here. Asia has come into its own and the joy of so many of our filmmakers and broadcasters finding and meeting each other with our international VIPs was a great rewarding moment for us. We must remember - this is just the beginning. Thank you so much to everyone - a BIG shout out to everyone who helped make this event happen!! You should be proud because you did it!!!!
